I’m not exactly sure why the Skateboard park at Ashbridge’s gives me such a rush but I think its partly because so many young people are enjoying it SO much, and partly because its just so cool that it got built. This story focuses more on the latter but touches on the former and while it would have been fun to talk more about the tricks and what not, one of the biggest tricks at all was coming up with the massive amounts of money and concrete to get it off the ground. It’s the community who has made it such an obvious success and has allowed for stage two to get rolling so hopefully in an upcoming issue we can talk about the bowl and all the cool events that the park has attracted since these have started already and are breathing new life into the Lakeshore at Coxwell.
