When I heard that Steamwhistle were celebrating 15 years I realized it was about that long ago that I briefly worked in the industry and met many craft brewers. Not only was the beer yummy but the people were amazing and many of us have stayed in touch to this day. I went out and talked to several of the guys I know who have been in the business at least this long to see what they thought about how the world of craft brewing has changed. I also spoke to two of the newer kids on the block who both happen to hail from the east end of Toronto. All in all Craft Brewing is alive and well and then some and I strongly encourage you to not only give these brewers a try but also to get out and visit them at their brewery tours or special events. They’re an enthusiastic and inspiring group of people who are passionate about their product. Cheers to 15 years of Craft Brewing and all the great people who keep the art alive!
