We met with a few folks from The Riverside BIA a few months back and they explained that they often have trouble getting people to realize where exactly The Riverside is and how it differs from Leslieville and from Riverdale. We were happy to help them address this problem by writing a feature about the very groovy area that we at Local have come to know very well over the past two plus years. The Riverside is a great place for an evening, daytime or weekend stroll and as the article suggests there is a great community fabric that has built up along this stretch of Queen Street east of Broadview and west of Degrassi. We hope that if you don’t already do so, you’ll find the time to get your own look at The Riverside.
