I’ve been a big believer in Pilates since about the second week I started doing it and that was only a few years back but I thought it would be more interesting for readers if seomone who hadn’t done Pilates before went and gave it a shot and wrote about it for Local. Stephanie Stearn wrote about Local for us a while back and did a great job. She used to teach yoga but had never tried true Pilates so we thought that she would be a perfect person to write the story. Sure enough, she did a great job and enjoyed her introduction to the practice of Pilates at the Pilates Barr. Pilates worked wonders for me years back in rekindling my core strength and ever since has kept me feeling fit and strong and flexible. If you’re looking for something that is relatively easy on your body but incredibly good for it, I can’t recommend Pilates enough – Stephanie liked it too
