We admit it – we LOVE the Waterworks. So when the Queen East Photography Collective sent us their shots from a tour they took last year, we jumped at the chance to try to find an issue in which to publish them. Somehow, the beauty of the place felt like a great fit for the New Year where we always try to have our more blue-sky stories. It’s an interesting time of year – new beginnings, lots of hope in the air and we find the interior of these buildings both beautiful and inspirational. Since it has been years since people were allowed to tour through the Waterworks regularly, we thought we’d try to take you on a mini tour and let you live through those of us who were lucky enough to go in. It’s quite a spot and hopefully it will open again this year as part of Doors Open Toronto – keep your eyes open for information – it’s well worth a trip.
